Humble Bundle with Android 6

Humble Bundle seems to outdo Indie Royale in terms of various bundles with lots of bonus content. Their latest Humble Bundle with Android 6 may focus more on the mobile gaming trend, but except for one all titles can also be played on the PC.

A small amount for a big package of mobile games
On offer for the minimum price of 1 dollar (if you want the Steam codes as well) are colorful Ecco The Dolphin-meets-fairies with more action sidescroller Aquaria, hexagon puzzler with pacific-environmental title Fractal: Make Blooms Not War, 8-bit style action-adventure-survival-horror-simulation parody Organ Trail: Director’s Cut, puzzle platformer with a stealth twist Stealth Bastard Deluxe and rhythm-chillout-tapper Pulse: Volume One plus the OSTs.

Paying more than the average of less than 5 dollars also unlocks turn-based strategy Rainbow Six-sort-of-gameplay-meets-Tron-aesthetics Frozen Synapse, classic conspiracy point-and-click adventure remake Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars – Director’s Cut and their soundtracks.

Adventuring on the go with Revolution Software’s finest
Even if I couldn’t test the mobile versions (which mostly seem betas), the selection of games is quite impressive. I only played through the Broken Sword game a few years back on both Nintendo consoles and despite some superfluous puzzles and (like the Monkey Island remakes) questionable character drawings, it’s still one of those adventures which stand the test of time simply because of its script and memorable characters, not to forget the wonderful backgrounds and music (a very good thing to have this separately to listen to as well). Though the voice acting in English can be pretty terrible with a French accent imitation, the other characters are better voiced.

Go get it, nuff said
Another great bundle to boot, Humble Bundle with Android 6 should not be missed. Even if you don’t own one of those fancy devices, the PC versions are just as much fun, so take your time while going through all the trailers and links, as there are about 11 days to go before the offer expires.
