Groupees: Be Mine 9 Bundle

The great thing about reviewing indie bundles is that there’s a constant stream of very good titles finding their way into these pages which obviously causes some concern considering the amount of time one can spend with the games and discussing them without becoming a part of the promo/PR wheel. But when it’s as good as GroupeesBe Mine 9 Bundle, it’s easy to write about these.

For a minimum of 1 dollar, the bundle includes the four games The Whispered World (a classic and beautifully hand-drawn point-and-click adventure), Mini Motor Racing EVO (a fun and fast arcade racer), Splatter (a bloody top-down shooter, but with a film noir twist) and Depths of Peril (a colorful fantasy strategy RPG). Recently unlocked were also Chompy Chomp Chomp (a bonkers multiplayer cartoon-violence Pacman sort of arcade experience), Super Panda Adventures (looks and plays as crazy as it sounds with its amalgamation of platforming and brawling), The 39 Steps (an interactive storytelling book adventure) and Particulars (a medical arcade-action-puzzler) plus the music albums Silence by Gabriel Martins, The Car Bootleg EP by Grinny Grandad and the Charlie Darker Collection. If one fancies to try out some WWII strategic wargaming, a 10 dollars coupon for in-game purchases in March of War: World at War is provided as well.

Paying more than 5 dollars gives access to the turn-based fantasy strategy game Eador: Masters of the Broken World, its add-on Genesis and the respective soundtrack. Also available then are the cute and fantastically drawn top-down adventure title Ittle Dew, the casual adventure Angelica Weaver: Catch Me When You Can and the spectacular-looking sci-fi action space-sim Ring Runner: Flight of the Sages plus their soundtracks and the Ring Runner: Derelict Dreams novel.

It might not top the number of games in other Groupee bundles, but the quality certainly shines through and for the small entrance price, this package is more than recommended. So don’t wait too long before the offer expires in less than two days. If you’re still undecided, check the following trailers and links:
