It’s the time of the week again to give a quick round-up of Indie Royale‘s latest, and now there’s even some charity work involved with the World Water Bundle.
In accordance to the theme, the games included all revolve around the concept of being in or close to water, highlighted by the fun ryhthm-platform-puzzle-blaster Beatbuddy: Tale of the Guardians, physics-based (obviously inspired by Locoroco) puzzler Puddle, comic arcade racer powered by fluids Pressure, under-the-sea exploration game Depth Hunter, tongue-in-cheek murder multiplayer FPS simulator The Ship, and dream-like platformer Storm in a Teacup.
Unfortunately there are no extras included (which is a shame, as the music of all titles is simply fantastic), but you can unlock the soundtrack album Aqua Kitty by Electric Cafe when paying more than 5 Euros.
I have to say that I liked this bundle in particular due to the fun attitude of all games and also their comic art direction (despite the fact that Pressure has already appeared in one of Indie Royale’s former bundles), so it’s really too bad that the soundtracks aren’t included. Even if the compilation relies heavily on the platformer template, just looking at the world design, listening to the music is enough to warrant the small entry price. And obviously supporting the Water charity is another incentive to purchase the bundle before the offer expires in one day.
