Good news for all those loving their games episodic and their storytelling based on popular franchises: GOG added even more titles to its Telltale Games catalogue.
Only available on Steam before, it’s great to finally get Game of Thrones: Season 1, The Wolf Among Us, The Walking Dead: Season 1, The Walking Dead: Season 2, and The Walking Dead: 400 Days in the DRM-free form. Tales from the Borderlands is also planned to be included in the near future.
For those who haven’t experienced Telltale Games’ interactive stories, you can read the reviews of The Walking Dead: Season 1 and The Walking Dead: 400 Days. Unfortunately due to time problems, I haven’t been able to play the other games yet. But rest assured that they’ll be added to the review section soon.
The same also holds true for the older titles which are more in the vein of point-and-click puzzle solving, like Tales of Monkey Island, Sam & Max Save the World, Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space, Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse, and Back to the Future: The Game. Yes, I’ve played them ages ago, but it’s about time to review them here as well, as they’re really quite excellent. Now if GOG also releases other Telltale Games titles like Bone or even Jurassic Park: The Game (the one I haven’t played), this would make the collection complete.
Now’s the perfect time to get into these games, as GOG is doing a Tell a Telltale Tale contest in which one has to tweet (yes, you got to have a Twitter account) a short summary of a Telltale Games title. Maybe not the most creative work, but at least there are some goodies to win.
At the moment, there’s also a big GOG Summer Sale going on with all the aforementioned games discounted for 50 to 85%. So grab them while the deal is hot!

Hehe, thanks. Small steps, short articles, but hopefully getting back into the consistent, daily blogging habit, and more reviews :).
