Diablo style double-clicking action-RPGs were all the rage back in the days, and Iron Lore Entertainment’s Greek mythology basher Titan Quest is back with THQ Nordic‘s Anniversary Edition.
I already mentioned the original game in the Grim Dawn release news, so it comes as a pleasant surprise that it receives another update. Being already made available on GOG and Steam with the help of publisher Nordic Games (which recently got the THQ Nordic name), this isn’t simply the base game and add-on Immortal Throne put together as a bundle, because it features many more improvements.
Better multiplayer functionality, higher resolutions, a larger camera distance and scaleable UI size in addition to improved performance and stability are already welcome additions. A complete balance rework might be controversial for those who are accustomed to the original, but many bug fixes are definitely great news. More challenges and rewards for parties, new heroes and bosses with improved enemy and pet AI as well as more user-friendly interfaces are nice, too.
Speaking/Writing of nice, those who already purchased the original Steam version of Titan Quest will get the Anniversary Edition for free. Those who haven’t experienced this excellent-looking and playing game will have a chance to purchase the improved edition with 75% off until September 7, 4:59 PM UTC.
