The Halloween 2016 gaming special isn’t over yet, but let’s stop for a day to talk about the brandnew Monstrous Fall Sale 2016 and the free giveaway of Little Big Adventure 2.
Winter time is around the corner, but just as during the Summer Sale 2016 which included the great System Shock 2 for free, there are plenty of bargains to be had.
It’s pointless to list every single game (also due to time constraints), but it’s worth mentioning that one can again participate in an RPG-like shopping system, i.e. one collects badges by adding 10 new games to one’s wishlist, sharing the sale on Facebook or Twitter, visiting GOG Galaxy, the GOG Wallet page, or check in 7 times. Having already an account unlocks XP, and obviously buying games adds even more to the progress bar. Depending on the amassed experience points, Expeditions: Conquistador, DEX, and Victor Vran will be added to the library.
If you’re curious about some recommendations, just check my release news, although I’d highly recommend the Double Fine Bundle. More titles and bundles will be added each day, so check the site once in a while, as there are some great classics, and they’re all DRM-free, which is always a good thing. Little Big Adventure 2 is a must-have if you like immersive action-adventures with a great story and some unique visuals, although it could be too cute for some. Still, just like the original, it’s an amazing adventure I used to play back in the days, and hopefully I’ll be able to review both sometime in the future.
