Humble Spooky Horror Bundle

Halloween is still less than two months away, but Humble Bundle already brings enough horror gaming terror to the screen with the Humble Spooky Horror Bundle.

It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of the horror genre, survival horror and scary storytelling experiences in particular, so I don’t really care why this bundle came out of the blue (or hot summer air), as long as it has such interesting titles on offer for a very small price.

Paying 1 Dollar or more unlocks non-linear turn-based zombie survival RPG Dead Age, third-person survival camera horror DreadOut and DreadOut: Keepers of The Dark in addition to tongue-in-cheek slasher arcade adventure Lakeview Cabin Collection.

Paying more than the average (at the moment less than 8 Dollars) gives you exploration horror adventure Layers of Fear: Masterpiece Edition (which includes the original and DLC Inheritance), cinematic survival horror Alien: Isolation and dark survival horror comedy Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location.

Finally, paying 10 Dollars or more adds multiplayer slasher game Dead by Daylight in which one can either play the killer or the victim(s), a great idea if ever there was one for the FPS genre.

The overall selection is quite varied, and even if the titles are not so fresh anymore, the quality is high, especially with Alien: Isolation and Layers of Fear. Who knows, maybe some of these will make an appearance in a future Halloween gaming week ;)? If you’re curious to play them, make sure to buy the bundle before the offer expires in less than a week.
