There are so many games to play, and the Humble Jumbo Bundle 9 doesn’t make it any easier to catch up on all of them.
One might argue that this selection of titles is rather random. Compared to the Humble Spooky Horror Bundle which only had horror games, this one is a weird one, although it’s still worth writing about, as there’s something for almost everyone.
Starting with 1 Dollar or more, rogue-lite river exploration game The Flame in the Flood, physics-based puzzler Human: Fall Flat, and sci-fi RTS Infested Planet can be played. The first two games have already been featured in their respective news articles and have been on my wishlist for quite some time, so it’s nice to see them for such a small price.
Paying more than the average (at the moment less than 6 dollars) additionally gives you WWI multiplayer FPS Verdun, fantasy co-op FPS Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, exploration adventure puzzle game Samorost 3, WarioWare-style switching-mini-games-multiplayer mayhem Marooners, and Spelunky-inspired rogue-like platformer Caveblazers. It might be a bit strange finding a more contemplative experience next to hectic shooters, platformers, and a multiplayer title, but as it is, everything seems to offer a quality time in their respective genres.
Finally if one decides to pay 10 Dollars or more, American Truck Simulator is added. Personally I wouldn’t go for that one, but maybe someone out there digs these simulations. So as far as variety goes, the new bundle has a lot to offer. If you’re up for it, then get it before the offer expires in less than a week.
