It’s impossible not to fall in love with Vive La Humble Mobile Bundle: Made in France.
There was a time when I didn’t feel the need to write about Humble Bundle, as games repeated themselves and some were quite expensive, but with their latest outings, it’s highly impressive what one gets for a very small price. Paying 1 Dollar or more unlocks escaping-bosses platformer Mechanic Escape, popping-balloons arcade shooter Pang Adventures, and finding-words experimental game unWorded. While the first two games look like a lot of fun thanks to the art style, the third game has the most interesting gameplay idea, as it’s about a hospitalized writer who tries to tell stories with the help of the player arranging letters and words.
Paying more than the average of less than 5 Dollars at the moment of writing adds roguelike space exploration game Out There: Ω Edition, horror point-and-clicker Sanitarium, and golf simulation title OK Golf. While I’m not exactly sold with the space and golf title, Sanitarium is worth every penny, as it’s one of the most memorable 90ies titles that now received an updated version thanks to DotEmu.
Finally, for 5 Dollars (so only a few cents more), the Gobliiins Trilogy adventure game series, again with courtesy of DotEmu, comedic tactical fantasy RPG Dungeon Rushers and narrative investigation game A Normal Lost Phone are added as well. The Gobliiins titles might be quite brutal in their difficulty, but the weird sense of humor and graphical style are still timeless. So make sure you’ll grab the bundle before it expires in less than a week.
