September was another productive month in blogging, involving lots of gaming, especially Gamescom, and even some comic books.
As always, the monthly overviews covered TV and movies with collecting and streaming in equal measures, while having a look back at what August had to offer was standard procedure.

The same could be said about the free Twitch Primes games, although this news arrived later than usual because of so many other articles:
Twitch Prime free games in September 2018
These news articles were unsurprisingly about game releases, exclusively indie titles:
The Banner Saga 3
CrossCode
Donut County
Graveyard Keeper
“A Hat in Time – Seal the Deal” DLC
La-Mulana 2
Little Bug
Megaquarium
Monkey King: Master of the Clouds
State of Mind
The Walking Dead: The Final Season
I squeezed in some game updates articles, too, and even though I’m not sure I’ll do this on a regular basis, these were still worth mentioning for various reasons:
“The Darkside Detective” free DLC cases
“Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice” VR
“Stardew Valley” multiplayer mode
The game reviews were all about fantasy, fairy-tales, and folk tales this time (with special thanks to Later Levels‘ editor Kim for promoting the Simon articles in her Twitch stream special videos than can still be watched here):
“Simon the Sorcerer” Original+25th Anniversary Edition
“Simon the Sorcerer II” Original+25th Anniversary Edition
Simon the Sorcerer 3D

The Wolf Among Us: Season 1
Gamescom 2018 was quite stressful, especially writing about it afterwards, as there was so much to see in the public and business areas:
Past gaming events: Gamescom 2018, Day 1 (press appointments)
Past gaming events: Gamescom 2018, Day 2 (press appointments)
Past gaming events: Gamescom 2018, Day 3 (press appointments)
Past gaming events: Gamescom 2018, Day 1 (games played in the public areas)
Past gaming events: Gamescom 2018, Day 2 (games played in the public areas)
Still there was time to do some (comic) book reading in preparation of the The Wolf Among Us: Season 1 game:
“Fables” series
“Fables: The Wolf Among Us” Vol. 1+2
The daily blogging routine has been successful again so far and from the looks of October with our annual Halloween specials coming up, there will be more than enough material to write about in next month’s overview for sure.
