Amazon/Twitch Prime free games in October 2018

Twitch Prime‘s free games in October deliver the pre-Halloween chills.

It seems that each new month offers fewer titles to download, and even if this might sound disappointing, the four games on offer are anything but fillers. Action-adventure Darksiders: Warmastered Edition (see preview) is perfect as a preparation for the imminent release of the third game of the Zelda–God of War-like series, Sanitarium might still be one of the most disturbing psychological point-and-clickers even today, SOMA (see review) delivers enough frightful scenes in the survival horror depth of the sea, and System Shock: Enhanced Edition (see preview) is a great remake of one of the most important FPS/RPGs without which Bioshock wouldn’t have been possible.

While it would have been nice for Darksiders II and System Shock II to be included to complete the package, considering that one receives all the games for free if one is a subscriber of Amazon Prime, anyway (plus obviously having linked one’s account to Twitch), one should still embrace these titles, and who knows if the sequels won’t be added in the upcoming months? So make sure to check the trailers below and claim the games before October 31!
