Cyan Inc‘s mysterious first-person adventure game Obduction is given away for free thanks to GOG and its Summer Sale Festival which holds even more surprises.
I already covered Obduction in this release news and I haven’t come around playing it yet. As it’s only a limited time offer, I’ll keep this short. Being made by the people behind the love-it-or-hate-it Myst adventures, this sci-fi adventure offers the same sense of exploring a mysterious world and finding out how various machinations work. As it’s in real time, it’s a much more immersive and beautiful-looking experience. Anyone who’d like to experience it, can do so now, as GOG gives it away for free. Obduction can be added to one’s library until tomorrow, June 1, 1 PM UTC.
The Summer Sale Festival on GOG is another reason to visit the DRM-free platform, as it offers all sorts of discounts for games that haven’t been reduced in price before, some I haven’t even discussed yet, although I was pretty excited when they made their DRM-free debut, like the original Diablo, Warcraft I+II bundle or Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales.
Even more exciting is the news that the sublime Bioshock: Infinite Complete Edition is now available, too, together with Bioshock: Remastered and Bioshock 2: Remastered. Maybe I’ll write more about this news later if time allows. Until then, just browse through the DRM-free library, as more offers will be on the website, with the Summer Sale Festival lasting until June 17, 10 PM UTC.
