GOG free game “Toonstruck”

GOG’s Summer Sale Festival is drawing to a close, but there’s one final surprise: the cartoon FMV point-and-click adventure game Toonstruck as a freebie.

After the Obduction giveaway and the start of the big sale, Toonstruck is the second great adventure game GOG makes available for free. I already wrote a review a while back and gave it a 9/10, which should serve as a clear recommendation.

Presented as a mix of 2D cartoon and live-action FMV sequences, mainly with Christopher Back to the Future “Doc Brown” Lloyd, there hasn’t been a game like Toonstruck. Being literally drawn into the world he created, artist Drew Blank has to save it with his friend Flux Wildly without going insane himself, and what follows is a bonkers journey with anarchic humor and memorable characters. Featuring fun puzzles and a top-notch presentation, the game remains one of the best adventure titles one can imagine.

Toonstruck will be available to download for free until June 16, 2 PM UTC. So hurry and get it before the offer expires!
