Overview of (blog) life in June 2019

June 2019 was another productive month for writing about lots of games, movies, and some upcoming game events.

The overviews were published only a few days before the end of the month, an indication for many news articles taking priority:

Amazon Prime Video watchlist: May 2019
Netflix watchlist: May 2019
New additions to the media collection in May 2019

The most important gaming events had to be covered as soon as possible, not only to secure a press accreditation, but also because these are the biggest and most exciting ones to attend in August:

Upcoming gaming events: devcom 2019 in Cologne, Germany
Upcoming gaming events: gamescom 2019 in Cologne, Germany

There was still time for game releases as news:

Chook & Sosig: Walk the Plank
“Jurassic World Evolution: Claire’s Sanctuary” DLC
Monster Jam Steel Titans
“Planet Coaster: Ghostbusters” DLC

The same held true for GOG releases:

Diablo: Hellfire
Judgment: Apocalypse Survival Simulation – Desert Edition
A Light in the Dark
Passpartout: The Starving Artist
Seasons after Fall
SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech

… including the GOG “Simply: RED – CD PROJEKT RED Collection” with “Cyberpunk 2077” pre-order.

If one didn’t want to spend any money on games, then these freebies were worth getting:

Amazon/Twitch Prime free games in June 2019
GOG free game “Toonstruck”

Finally, after a period of zero game reviews, these made their appearances:

Detective Gallo
Lamplight City
Nex Machina
Unforeseen Incidents

In general, it was daily blogging business as usual, and let’s hope it stays that way… although I can’t promise anything because by the time you’re reading this, I’ve already started a new job. However, planning and time management is everything, so I’ll try my best to keep posting.

Being an avid gamer, cinemaniac, and bookworm in addition to other things the internet and new media present, I'm also very much into DIY music, rock and pop in particular. Writing short or longer pieces about anything that interests me has always made me happy. As both an editor for German website "Adventure-Treff" and UK website "Future Sack", I like to write reviews and news about recent developments in the movies, games and book industry.
