Despite having had a quick conversation with the Mixtvision PR on the second day at devcom 2019 and on the second and fourth day at gamescom 2019, I never had the time to actually play this title or to learn more about its intriguing concept which revolves around a police detective who has to bring down the terrorist group The Liberation Front.
This obviously involves police work like the titular interrogation of suspects, but also to manage one’s workforce, as the limited budget and the annoying press are some of the obstacles one has to overcome. As time is running out to stop the organization, one has use every means necessary, which can mean manipulation, threats or torture. These methods obviously result in different outcomes of the story and pose moral questions about how the real world treats terrorist attacks, exemplified by police brutality and what choices there are.
The game is out now on PC, and if you already own FAR: Lone Sails on GOG (another Mixtvision release I previewed here), then you will receive a 10% launch discount on this title if you buy it before December 19, 2019, 5 PM.
