In addition to acquiring the rights to more Wolfenstein games, GOG has also added these great first-person stealth/action games to its DRM-free platform. Dishonored: Definitive Edition puts the player into the shoes of assassin Corvo Attano who has to find his way through the steampunk/Lovecraft-inspired industrial city of Dunwall. Using both supernatural powers as well as other gadgets that are handy for a silent killer, it’s a game that offers all kinds of ways to play it.
Originally released in 2012 and later supplemented with the Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches, and Void Walker’s Arsenal DLCs, Dishonored: Definitive Edition is now available DRM-free as a complete package with a 65% launch discount that lasts until February 24, 2020, at 2 PM UTC.
Dishonored 2 is set 15 years after the events of its predecessor and lets the player take on the role of both Corvo Attano, who has become the royal protector, and Empress Emily Kaldwin. This obviously offers different narrative strands as well as various ways of playing the game, although combat still remains as brutal as ever, either showcased by silent or more action-focused kills.
Dishonored 2 was out in 2016 and is now on GOG with a 75% discount until February 24, 2020, at 2 PM UTC.
Finally, there’s Dishonored: Death of the Outsider which features another protagonist who is still linked to the main series, namely Billie Lurk who works together with her mentor Daud who supposedly founded a group of assassins. Their goal is to execute one of the greatest assassinations ever: killing the Outsider, a god-like figure in the city of Karnaca. This again involves the same mix of stealth and action with supernatural and steampunk elements as the other games are known for.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider came out in 2017 and has now found its DRM-free home on GOG with a 75% discount that ends on February 24, 2020, at 2 PM UTC.
If you want to experience the whole Dishonored story, then you can also buy all games together with the Complete Collection which is 70% off until February 24, 2020, at 2 PM UTC.
