GOG provides access to 3 more free games

Anyone who hasn’t already had enough DRM-free games in its GOG library will rejoice, as the digital gaming platform offers three more titles as freebies.

Almost three months ago I covered the “stay at home” initiative with 26 free games on GOG, a time when the Coronavirus situation was starting to take over every country in the world. Now these titles have been added to the free games collection: Hapa Games‘ action-adventure Ascendant, Terrible Toybox’ point-and-clicker Delores: A Thimbleweed Park Mini-Adventure, and DreamForge Intertainment’s classic RTS War Wind.

I’ve already mentioned Ascendant in the Humble Weekly Bundle: Brawlers article and wrote a review of the Thimbleweed Park (plus a game release news of the “Ransome Unbeeped” DLC), so if you want to learn more about these titles, make sure to read the individual pieces. War Wind might not be as well-known as Warcraft II (which can also be found on GOG), but it sure looks like a lot of strategy fun.

These free games are promoted by GOG accompanying its Summer Sale which lasts until June 15, 2020, at 1 PM UTC. Even if they’re not limited time offers, why should you wait adding them to your library right now? BTW, this won’t be the last time I’ll write about new releases coinciding with the sale, so stay tuned.

Using the GOG links and buying the products also helps ;).
