Urnique Studio and Milk Bottle Studio’s stealth puzzler with time manipulation mechanics jumps into GOG territory.
Timelie might look cute with its anime style, but it promises some tough challenges for a girl and a mysterious cat who are trapped inside a surreal world and have to escape various robotic enemies. Fortunately, time is on their sides, quite literally, as one can rewind and forward it.
If one makes mistakes, time can be turned back to try another approach, while moving forward shows how enemies will behave. It’s a neat mechanic that hopefully incorporates some level design changes, too, because the trailer itself (with a rather annoying pop song) doesn’t look too exciting. Still, being able to control the girl and cat simultaneously in order to sneak past enemies in a colorful world should warrant it a play or two.
Timelie was originally released in May this year and is now available on GOG with a 15% launch discount that lasts until July 17, 2020, at 1 PM UTC. Buying it together with the soundtrack provides a 20% discount.
