September 2020 was full of gamescom and devcom, but there was still some time for other game releases.
The overviews were partly squeezed into the last few days of the month, with Disney+ missing, as I didn’t watch anything on that streaming platform:
Amazon Prime Video watchlist: August 2020
Netflix watchlist: August 2020

There were just so many game releases (with limited-time discounts) that it became an exercise in planning ahead:
Against The Moon
art of rally
As Far As The Eye
Atomicrops
“Battlestar Galactica Deadlock: Modern Ships Pack”+”Battlestar Galactica Deadlock: Armistice” DLCs
Bleeding Moons
Control Ultimate Edition
Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning
Paradise Killer
Pendragon
Spinch
Star Renegades
Vampire: The Masquerade – Shadows of New York
Vaporum: Lockdown
GOG releases coincided with other games, but there were still some late bloomers in DRM-free form:
GOG releases 7 Ziggurat Interactive games
Monster Train
Silverfall: Complete
Sometimes one wonders if buying new games is actually necessary if so many freebies are made available, especially if some are given away for free on their release date:
Amazon Prime Gaming free games in September 2020
Epic Games Store free games: “Football Manager 2020” + “Stick It To The Man!” + “Watch Dogs 2”
Epic Games Store free games: “Railway Empire” and “Where The Water Tastes Like Wine”
Epic Games Store free game: “RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Complete Edition”
devcom and gamescom 2020 were quite different experiences in their digital format, but even without exclusive press appointments, there was more than enough to write about:
Past gaming events: devcom digital 2020 (quick overview with social media)
Past gaming events: devcom digital 2020, Week 1
Past gaming events: devcom digital 2020, Week 2
Past gaming events: gamescom 2020 (quick overview with social media)
Past gaming events: gamescom 2020, Day 1
Past gaming events: gamescom 2020, Day 2
Past gaming events: gamescom 2020, Day 3
Past gaming events: gamescom 2020, Day 4
The gaming event coverage took up most of the time, and as there were so many game releases, daily blogging turned into 2-articles-per-day routine, which will probably be the same next month for Halloween.
