It’s almost Halloween, so Beautiful Glitch‘s multiplayer dating sim Monster Prom 2: Monster Camp seems to be the best way to prepare for a digital party.

Camps in horror movies are never a good idea to be around in, as could be seen in the Friday the 13th movies, but it seems that having monsters vying for each other’s affection doesn’t end in bloodshed, but in actual love, even if it means tough competition.

Despite clearly aimed at 2-4 players, the game can be played on one’s own as well, but the real fun starts in local or online multiplayer sessions. Just as in TV dating shows, one hangs around different parts of a locale, in this case the camp, and does various outdoor activities, while coping with gossip spreading around behind one’s back, as sabotaging other campers might not be nice, but it helps to eliminate the competition. With over 50 characters, 350 events, and 20 endings, there’s certainly enough replay value with unexpected twists and lots of irreverent humor thanks to the cast of monsters.

The game is out now on PC with a 10% launch discount that lasts until November 2, 2020, at 6 PM UTC. Thanks to current Halloween sales, one can also buy the original Monster Prom and Monster Prom: Second Term with 60% and 30% off their standard prices.
