Epic Games Store free game: “The Textorcist: The Story of Ray Bibbia”

Epic Games Store‘s free game of the week is Morbidware/Headup Games‘ bullet hell typing action game The Textorcist: The Story of Ray Bibbia.

While the idea of typing in letters to form words connected to enemies onscreen to defeat them isn’t groundbreakingly new, there are still not enough examples of this, except for indies like Epistory – Typing Chronicles. Fortunately, The Textorcist: The Story of Ray Bibbia sets itself apart from the on-rails shooting heritage of Typing of the Dead or the aforementioned action-adventure not only by Latin sentences that have to be typed in, but also by a bonkers story about a private exorcist who fights against the Holy Church itself that has become too powerful for its own good, unleashing demons on the city of Rome. Learning how to type has never been more fun than when dodging bullets while listening to metal music, it seems.

The game can now be added to the Epic Games Store account for free until November 19, 2020, at 5:00 PM.
