It’s time for a different celebration outside of blog life, as I just got married today!

My milestone articles have usually revolved around the number of posts, followers, likes, or years I’ve been writing this blog. Today, I’m taking a break from gaming, movies, and all other media, as I got married to my fellow co-editor Annagram.
Of course marrying during the Coronavirus situation isn’t easy, so it was just the (very nice) registrar, two witnesses (our best friends we’ve had regular gaming days with before Covid started to take over and who also attended my creative writing course at university where I met my wife as well) and us, with family members having to wait outside. Wearing masks and/or keeping a set minimum distance were obviously necessary. There wasn’t any big or small celebration afterwards due to the current lockdown conditions, as all restaurants or other venues are closed. However, we managed to take some photos inside the town hall and outside and were lucky enough that there wasn’t any snow or rain.
We’ll have our church wedding in March, and it’s not quite clear if some celebration will be possible. The same goes for a honeymoon in Disneyland Paris that we’re planning for summer, as it all depends on how the situation will change until then.
Despite the strange situation we’re all in with all sorts of regulations, I’m very happy and I’m enjoying this day. Of course I’ll be back with more daily news (and maybe reviews) tomorrow!
