Ape Tribe Games and Sold Out‘s cyberpunk stealth-action RPG Disjunction celebrates reactive storytelling.

Even if the cyberpunk genre seems to become a bit overused these days, at least game developers try to offer their own unique spin on it, in this case a story about New York in 2048 where the drug ‘Shard’ threatens the city’s future survival and three citizens try to get behind a conspiracy connected to it.

One plays all three characters with their own individual abilities and cybernetic upgrades, and each storyline has an impact on how the next characters’ plot strand branches out. These consequences obviously have an effect on the fate of the city itself, as one can decide who dies and who lives. Combining both all-guns-blazing and stealth gameplay in addition to RPG mechanics, this might just be what Cyberpunk 2077 promised and didn’t quite deliver.

The game is out now on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch with a 10% launch discount that lasts until February 4, 2021, at 2 PM UTC. The digital soundtrack can also be bought separately with 10% off its original price.
