GOG releases 3 more Ziggurat Interactive games

The partnership between GOG and Ziggurat Interactive brings forth even more retro gaming goodness with 3 new DRM-free games.

After both companies made a lot of classic games from various genres available to a modern audience (see the GOG releases 8 more Ziggurat Interactive games and GOG releases 7 Ziggurat Interactive games articles), this time it’s all about simulation titles.

Discoveries of the Deep, developed by GameTek and published by Capstone Software in 1993, is an underwater simulation game in which one dives into the unexplored depths of the ocean to find sunken wrecks, treasure, and learn about marine life. This even goes as far as searching for a missing plane in the Bermuda Triangle.

Sands of Fire, developed and published by Three-Sixty Pacific in 1990, is a tank simulation game and tasks the player to take on missions during World War II in North Africa. Both strategy and firepower are necessary to have the upper hand in the heat of the battle in and outside the tanks.

Search for the Titanic, developed by Codesmiths and published by Capstone Software in 1989, is another underwater simulation game, only this time one tries to find the lost Titanic. Using all sorts of skills and resources (including missions to raise money with funding), while managing one’s crew, it’s another classic throwback to deep sea exploration.

All three games are now available DRM-free on GOG with a 33% launch discount that lasts until tomorrow, April 9, 2021, at 10:30 AM UTC. They’re also available on Steam, but why not support the good old games philosophy of GOG?
