Game release: “Hitchhiker – A Mystery Game” (PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch)

Mad About Pandas and Versus Evil‘s interactive narrative Hitchhiker – A Mystery Game is a hallucinetic trip down memory lane.

The most interesting games are usually those that don’t offer much explanation, at least when it comes to building a mystery and suspense. In the case of this adventure title, one is left wondering about one’s past or even the future destination, being a hitchhiker without any memory.

As someone close to the hitchhiker has disappeared, it’s even more of a mystery one follows up on by getting into cars of strangers and solving a few environmental puzzles along the way. Depending on specific choices one can make, one’s dark secrets might be revealed, in addition to experiencing all sorts of strange things on the road.

The game is out now on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch with a 10% launch discount (only for the PC version) that lasts until tomorrow, April 22, 2021, at 5 PM UTC.
