Epic Games Store once again gives away free games: Creative Assembly/SEGA‘s sci-fi survival horror game Alien: Isolation and Defiant Development‘s living boardgame Hand of Fate 2.

Alien: Isolation has already been a freebie on the store in December 2020 (see this article) and I’ve covered it in a review.

So these should suffice without repeating myself, only that the game captures the movies perfectly and hasn’t been bettered to this day.
Hand of Fate 2 is proof that boardgames can be so much more lively when they’re done in digital form.

It’s actually a dungeon crawler with action-RPG mechanics, but as every part of its levels, monsters, characters, weapons, and quests is based on cards, it’s rather unique and also looks amazing.
Both games can be added to the Epic Games Store account for free until April 29, 2021, at 5:00 PM.
