May 2021 was full of gaming news and all sorts of additions to the media collection.

It seems to have become almost tradition that the overviews were published just in the nick of time before the end of the month:

The reason for this was simply the sheer number of game releases:

Hundred Days – Winemaking Simulator
“HUNTDOWN” (GOG and Steam versions)
Imagine Earth

Mayhem in Single Valley
“MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries” (GOG and Steam versions)

GOG had even more additions than usual:

GOG releases 2 classic FPS games with Ziggurat Interactive
GOG releases 4 retro games with Ziggurat Interactive
Dark Nights with Poe and Munro
Lumberjack’s Dynasty

The company did quite a bit of celebrating, too:
GOG celebrates the “Desperados” series’ 20th anniversary
GOG “The Witcher” Anniversary Sale with free goodies collection
If all the new games weren’t enough to keep an eye on, there were many freebies as well:
Amazon Prime Gaming free games in May 2021
Epic Games Store free game: “The Lion’s Song”
Epic Games Store free game: “NBA 2K21”
Epic Games Store free game: “Pine”
GOG free game: “Tonight We Riot”
While there weren’t as many game reviews as the month before, these were still somehow special and two more off the to-do list:
Knights and Bikes
A Short Hike
The last days of May was so full of news that it was difficult to squeeze everything in, and even if it was all worth it, let’s hope this one is much less stressful.
