Despite the Coronavirus situation, we managed to have a really great time during our 3-days honeymoon trip to Disneyland Paris.
After the wedding reception went quite smoothly, only a few days later we had our honeymoon in Disneyland Paris from July 28-30, 2021.
As I didn’t have the full vaccination package (see Milestone reached: First Coronavirus vaccination), preparations were a bit of a necessary hassle, as one could only enter the theme park (or France in general) with an antigen test that wasn’t older than 48 hours.
So I had my first drive-in experience on July 27 and then an on-site test in Disney Village on July 29. Thankfully both were negative and we could enjoy all three days.
The weather was great and the Newport Bay Club hotel was only 15 minutes away from both the main park and the studios.
I have to see if time allows for a bigger article with more pictures, but hopefully these few snapshots should give an impression of what it was like spending one’s honeymoon in the happiest place on earth, even if it meant wearing masks at all times and the castle being renovated.
