Game release: “ExZeus: The Complete Collection” (PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch)

Ziggurat Interactive and Sickhead Games revive HyperDevbox Japan‘s on-rails mech arcade shooter series with ExZeus: The Complete Collection.

The first ExZeus was originally made for the arcade in 2003 and then ported to numerous consoles, PC and even mobile devices, while the sequel came out on PC in 2014. Both feature futuristic robots that are part of the titular project to defend Earth against alien invaders, which obviously results in a lot of shooting and explosions.

One can choose between three different robots in the first game, but only takes control of a single one in the second title. As this one is a fusion of all three, it’s still powerful enough to survive the onslaught of bullets and enemies on screen, especially the big bosses.

The game collection is out now on PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch with a 33% launch discount that lasts until October 7, 2021, at 4 PM UTC.
