Game release: “Coffee Noir – Business Detective Game” (PC)

DOJI‘s tycoon simulation Coffee Noir – Business Detective Game adds a futuristic film noir twist to the genre.

Taking place in 2021 Neo-London, the game is about private detective Arthur Oliver who has to solve the murder case of local coffee market business man Richard Kersey. The only way to do this is by going undercover and helping to run the company, as apparently one of Kersey’s partners might have something to do with his untimely demise.

What sounds like the strangest set-up even for film noir helps to fuse two disparate genres together. So one has to make all the business decisions, e.g. negotiating with partners and managing production as well as interrogating suspects and following clues. It’s certainly a unique project that hopefully delivers on both the detective and business part without alienating those who are accustomed to a particular playstyle.

The game is out now on PC with a 10% launch discount that lasts until tomorrow, October 7, 2021, at 3 PM UTC.
