Game release: “A Little Golf Journey” (PC, Nintendo Switch)

Okidokico and Playtonic FriendsA Little Golf Journey plays more like an adventure than a sports game.

Golf simulation games are an acquired taste, because they’re often set in real-life places and don’t offer much in terms of gameplay goals except for putting the ball into the hole with as few strikes as possible. While the latter is still true for this title, one has much more to experience with the environments.

Accompanied by a relaxing soundtrack, one plays at surreal places and even on the moon, all presented in dioramas. Even if the main objective remains the same, one can find mysteries and collectibles that are off the beaten tracks. Challenges have to be completed as well, and if that wasn’t enough, there seem to be some other surprises along the way, too, turning it more into an adventure than a simulation game.

The game is out now on PC and Nintendo Switch with a 10% launch discount that lasts until October 21, 2021, at 11 AM UTC.
