Antti Vaihia and Digerati‘s mix of rogue-lite action and tower defense game Tunnel of Doom is another uncertain underground adventure.

It’s funny that only yesterday I published the game release news about Hammerting, a title that was also set in the mines. This time there aren’t any dwarves, though, but a brave woman called Angel who becomes trapped inside a mine with her husband in the early 1900s and has to find a way out, saving as many other miners as possible. The other problem is that ghoulish monsters are ready to attack in the darkness.

In order to defend herself, Angel has to set traps and craft weapons, which all require materials that are found in the mine. With over 50 perks to be discovered, too, survival is made easier, and there might even be a chance to get out alive with everyone else.

The game is out now on PC with a 10% launch discount that lasts until tomorrow, November 30, 2021, at 6 PM UTC.
