Game release: “Looking for Aliens” (PC)

Yustas Games Studio and Alawar Entertainment‘s hidden object game Looking for Aliens makes human beings the strange ones.

A short while back I wrote about the GOG release of “Hidden Through Time”, a title that is from another developer and publisher, but they share the same gameplay: finding items and people, in this case aliens, on a large screen littered with other stuff that is either eye candy or an obstacle, depending on one’s view to complete a level.

The twist is that one sees the human world through an alien TV show, so there are obviously hosts and a contestant called Zhaun (for the aliens) or Sean (for real). This one isn’t an alien, though, but an earthling who wants to prove that the extraterrestrials exist. It’s certainly an engaging concept to click through a lovely hand-drawn world where things and people might not be what they seem.

The game is out now on PC with a 20% launch discount that lasts until tomorrow, December 15, 2021, at 2 PM UTC.
