Epic Games Store free game: “Control”

Epic Games Store‘s Day 11 of freebies features an old friend: Remedy Entertainment/505 Games‘ surreal action-adventure Control.

It was again only a matter of time before a game that was already given away for free on the digital store made another appearance, but with Control having been a freebie only a few months ago (and then via Amazon Prime Gaming on GOG in November this year), one wonders why this keeps happening. It’s also a shame that it isn’t the Ultimate Edition.

Of course this doesn’t change the fact that the title is still a very enjoyable AAA experience, one that I unfortunately haven’t had the chance to play or review yet. But writing so many times about it, it’s time that I do, especially with the recent remaster of Alan Wake and its upcoming sequel of the revered developer.

The game can be added to the Epic Games Store account for free until today, December 27, 2021, at 5:00 PM.
