Epic Games Store free game: “Mages of Mystralia”

Epic Games Store‘s Day 12 of freebies has Borealys Games‘ action-adventure Mages of Mystralia.

I already discussed Mages of Mystralia in this GOG release news over 4 years ago (which seems to be a good thing in general: writing about the latest releases to save time and space), and the idea of crafting one’s own spells to solve puzzles and fight enemies still sounds compelling.

The cel-shaded art style and colorful worlds one explores as young girl Ziya who is born with magic are certainly incentives enough to give this one a try, especially with the involvement of a Forgotten Realms fantasy author and the Final Fantasy/Kingdom Hearts playing Video Game Orchestra.

The game can be added to the Epic Games Store account for free until today, December 28, 2021, at 5:00 PM.
