GOG weekend sale: “A mix of inspiring games”

GOG offers the chance to experience inspiring and engaging games for bargain prices with its weekend sale.

I thought that after the GOG weekly sale: “Fascinating puzzle and adventure games” and GOG midweek sale: “Scary horror games” articles, my promotional endeavors would have come to an end for the time being. But the mix of inspiring games includes so many cool titles that I’ve either reviewed, previewed or want to play, anyway:

Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The First Cases (see the preview)
Agatha Christie – The ABC Murders (see the preview)
Amerzone: The Explorer’s Legacy (see the The Benoît Sokal Legacy article)
Asterix & Obelix XXL 2
Asterix & Obelix XXL 3 – The Crystal Menhir (see the preview)
Asterix & Obelix: Slap them All! (see the preview)
Atlantis: The Lost Tales (like the other two games, I remember playing this for the music and visuals)
Atlantis 2: Beyond Atlantis
Atlantis 3: The New World
Blacksad: Under the Skin (see the preview)
Dracula Trilogy (maybe for a potential Halloween special?)
Dracula 4+5 (could be almost a weekly special?)
Flashback (still remember playing this on a friend’s Amiga 500)
MegaRace 1+2 (another throwback to the FMV 90ies craze with not the best gameplay, but fun)
MegaRace 3 (simply for completionist sake, as I didn’t even know there was a third one)
Moto Racer (now this was a lot of fun with very cool gameplay back in the days)
Moto Racer 2 (another case of “didn’t know there was a sequel”)
Moto Racer 3 Gold Edition (“… or a third part for that matter”)
Post Mortem (see the review)
Still Life (see the review)
Still Life 2 (see the review)
Syberia (see the review)
Syberia II (see the review)
Syberia 3: The Complete Journey (see the preview or wait until tomorrow…)
The Smurfs – Mission Vileaf (simply because the cartoon characters are fun)
XIII (see the GOG free game: “XIII” with Spring Sale article)
Yesterday Origins (too bad the first game featured in the GOG release article isn’t on sale)

As you can see, there are quite a few titles I haven’t reviewed, but I’m eager to do so… whenever that will be. Making this list certainly hasn’t helped taking my mind off reviewing games. The “A mix of inspiring games” sale only lasts until tomorrow, February 14, 2022, at 2 PM UTC, so there’s still a bit of time left.
