GOG midweek sale: “Relaxing adventure games”

It’s a stressful time at the moment, so what better way to calm down a bit by enjoying GOG’s midweek sale featuring lots of adventure games?

It’s not only the ongoing pandemic and now war that can bring people down, as I’ve had and still have a week I’m looking forward to have it over with due to health reasons… although some more stressful weeks and months will follow. Fingers crossed…

Being an adventure game fan, it’s obvious that I’d have covered GOG’s new promo sale, anyway. But now having more relaxing games to dip into is perfect timing, even though if it’s debatable if solving some frustrating or obscure puzzles can feel more like work.

Be it as it may, here’s another list to double-check if it has more games that haven’t been reviewed or previewed yet:

2064: Read Only Memories
A Vampyre Story (see the GOG release news)
Animation Arts Collection (see the reviews for Secret Files: Tunguska, Secret Files 2 – Puritas Cordis and Secret Files 3, although the Lost Horizon games are also quite enjoyable, too)
Ankh – Anniversary Edition (see the GOG release news)
Ankh 2: Heart of Osiris
Ankh 3: Battle of the Gods (see the GOG release news for both titles)
Broken Age: The Complete Adventure (see the review)
CHUCHEL (see the game release news)
Cleo – a pirate’s tale (see the review)
Cognition: Game of the Year Edition (see the reviews for Ep. 1: The Hangman, Ep. 2: The Wise Monkey, Ep. 3: The Oracle, Ep. 4: The Cain Killer)

Fenimore Fillmore: The Westerner (see the GOG release news)
Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist (see the GOG release news)

Guard Duty (see the review)
Inspector Waffles
Jack Keane (see the review)
Jack Keane 2: The Fire Within (see the review)
Jack Orlando: A Cinematic Adventure – Director’s Cut
Lamplight City (see the review)
Lilly Looking Through (see the review)
LUNA The Shadow Dust (see the review)
Tales of Monkey Island: Complete Season (see the review)
The Darkside Detective (see the review)
The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark (see the review)
The Journey Down Trilogy (see the review for Chapter 1 HD)
The Longest Journey (see the review)
The Wolf Among Us (see the review)
Thimbleweed Park (see the review)
To The Moon (see the review)
Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures
Zork Nemesis: The Forbidden Lands

As you can see, this is one of the longest list of recommendations I’ve written so far, and I actually had to skip quite a few titles due to time constraints. The relaxing adventure games sale runs until March 20, 2022, at 2 PM UTC.
