Epic Games Store free game: “In Sound Mind”

Epic Games Store‘s new freebie of the week is We Create Stuff and Modus Games‘ surreal first-person survival horror game In Sound Mind.

In Sound Mind was already featured in this game release news, and it’s still as enigmatic today as when it came out last year. The reason for this is that the mix of surreal imagery, boss battles and strange puzzles sets it apart from other games of the genre.

It might also help that there’s a cat called Tonia and one tries to escape one’s own mind which throws all sorts of unsettling horror at the player. Maybe petting the cat as a companion can be a more soothing experience, as this is possible, too.

The game can be added to the Epic Games Store account for free until March 24, 2022, at 4:00 PM.
