2 new games in the realm of fantasy from publisher Meridian4 have made their DRM-free way to GOG.

After GOG released 3 games from Meridian4 in January, the newest additions again dabble in different genres. In the case of Paladin Dream, developed by HitherYon Games in July 2021, it’s the fantasy RPG template, inspired by the King Arthur mythology.

As paladin Josiah one leaves the comfort of an abbey to seek a duel with a gray knight of his recurring dream. With over 100 NPCs to talk to, 100 areas to explore and 50 types of enemies to fight, there’s certainly enough playtime to get out of it.
The Wizard and The Slug was made by Silkworm in November 2020 and is a 2D platformer about a wizard who is on the run and befriends a slug in the forest. If ever there was a stranger story, that’s certainly one.

Together they try to lift an ancient curse (so maybe it’s not that weird of a story), but it’s the slug one plays. With a storyline branching into 3 acts and with multiple endings, the mix of action platforming and strange interactions with various characters is definitely one of a kind.
Both games are now available DRM-free on GOG with 50% launch discounts that last until April 29, 2022, at 1 PM UTC.
