Team17‘s cartoon strategy series Worms finds 3 new places in the DRM-free heart of GOG.

Worms Ultimate Mayhem – Deluxe Edition was released in September 2011 and includes the base game, Customization Pack, Multiplayer Pack, and Worms Ultimate Mayhem – Single Player Pack DLCs, and being a 3D experience, the cartoon action is as right in one’s face.

One is also able to build weapons, making the next shot all the more surprising for the opposition when the tool of destruction is revealed. Of course all the classic weapons like the Holy Hand Grenade, bazooka, dynamite, and Super Sheep are present and correct, with the Alien Abduction or Old Woman adding to the humorous destruction.
Worms Crazy Golf came out in October 2011 and is a hilarious take on the multiplayer strategy game and golf sports, which means comic violence and cartoon fun in the green fields.

The main goal is still to put the white ball into the hole, but as is to be expected, this becomes a puzzle affair with many obstacles in the way. Interacting with the environment by getting past other worms or animals results in some pretty crazy situations for sure.
Worms Revolution Gold Edition released in October 2012 and comprises the original game, the Customization Pack, Mars Pack, Funfair, and Medieval Tales DLC, which should give a good idea of how silly it is.

In addition to dynamic water and physics objects, the biggest new feature is that worms have 4 classes: Soldier, Scout, Scientist, and Heavy. While far from being an RPG, this enhances the experience a bit, while its irreverent humor is left intact, too. With wildlife documentary filmmaker Don Keystone as the unseen narrator, this becomes even more fun.
All three games are now available DRM-free on GOG with 70% launch discounts that last until May 13, 2022, at 1 PM UTC. If one buys or owns all the titles of the Complete Worms Collection, one receives an additional 30% off the discounted games in the bundle.
