Game release: “Gloomhaven – Jaws of the Lion” DLC (PC)

Flaming Fowl Studios and Asmodee Digital‘s digital adaptation of the fantasy strategy board game Gloomhaven has received a new update with the Jaws of the Lion DLC.

The original Gloomhaven was developed by Isaac Childres and published by Cephalofair Games, and as it’s the case with so many board games, Asmodee did good to give it the digital platform treatment and sell it as a grim tactical RPG. Playing as a mercenary group in the backwater city of Gloomhaven, one investigates the disappearance of people thanks to a sinister cabal.

One can choose between 4 different mercenaries (red guard, hatchet, demolitionist or voidwarden) who obviously have their own unique abilities. In addition, 10 new enemies and bosses, and 22 road events make each run that much more exciting. Judging by the colorful looks of it, the game delivers on its promises of dark fantasy gaming.

The DLC is out now on PC with a 25% discount for the base game that lasts until May 23, 2022, at 12 AM UTC.
