GOG release: “Legend Bowl”

Super Pixel Games‘ football game Legend Bowl brings pixel art back to the sports genre on GOG.

Anyone who thought that Tennis 2022 (see this game release news) was playing it safe with its graphical presentation and less focus on the hands-on experience will like Legend Bowl much more. However, despite its pixel look, this isn’t a true arcade game, but mixes simulation parts on and off the football field, too.

One has to build a team of players who have the best stats like speed, agility, and acceleration, train them before tournaments or matches and then send them to the field where one can take control of them, too. Accompanied by chiptune music, the pixel characters certainly look great in motion and one is soon transported back to the good old 90ies of videogames.

Legend Bowl was originally released in September 2021 and is now available DRM-free on GOG with a 20% launch discount that lasts until May 25, 2022, at 1 PM UTC.
