Game release: “Decision: Red Daze” (PC)

FlyAnvil and Nordcurrent Labs‘ action-RPG Decision: Red Daze turns the mutant apocalypse into a survival and tower defense endeavor.

Post-apocalyptic scenarios and mutants/zombies go hand in hand, and this isometric shooter is another example of how well the premise works in the genre. The basic plot is about The Dust Bowl where a disease called Red Daze turns people into mutants who obviously look and behave like zombies.

In order to survive and also destroy the Red Daze, one recruits various people to form squads as well as take control of settlements for farms, factories or military purposes. So it’s not only a straight action game, but involves strategic elements, like upgrading and specializing survivors, giving them tasks to complete, e.g. making food or building defenses. Needless to say, the gory shoot-outs are the highlights to look forward to.

The game is out now on PC with a 10% launch discount that lasts until tomorrow, May 26, 2022, at 1 PM UTC.
