GOG release: “Curious Expedition 2”

Maschinen-Mensch and Thunderful Publishing‘s exploration adventure Curious Expedition 2 opens the door to other worlds to be immersed in.

In a time when traveling is made difficult due to the pandemic, war, and other problems, something like Curious Expedition 2 is welcome. After I discussed the first game in this game release news 6 years ago, it really seems like ages before the aforementioned problems made going to other countries a questionable endeavor.

One again embarks on a journey to fantastical worlds which all have their dangers and possibilities. Resource management as well as keeping every trek member sane is important, but so is the experience itself, i.e. bonding between the characters and reacting to each new situation. Dice-based combat becomes inevitable against some species, while the new Director Mode allows to change the gameplay with modifiers and other features.

Curious Expedition 2 was originally released in January 2021 and is now available DRM-free on GOG with a 40% launch discount that lasts until tomorrow, May 26, 2022, at 1 PM UTC. The DLCs Shores of Taishi and Highlands of Avalon can also be bought separately with 10% discounts each.
