Kagura Games does it again by delivering another risqué game with P.+‘s dark RPG The Dead End.

After having covered quite a few titles from the publisher, there’s obviously a pattern that is followed: RPG Maker-style graphics and women without much clothing and bigger assets in compromising situations. Here the silliness is taken to the extreme, as the story is about a witch that created a dungeon where people turn into the undead, with only the Rescuers (human recovery agents) taking on the job of recovering the corpse of a Holy Maiden.

If this sounds strange, then the gameplay adds to the confusion, as one dives into the dungeon and has to manage hunger and thirst, because if one dies, the curse of undeath (a real word) starts the ticking time bomb. This untimely demise can be prevented by using the church’s unholy waters. So all in all, it’s another strange take on the genre, which might set it apart from similar titles.

The game is out now on PC with a 10% launch discount that lasts until May 30, 2022, at 1 PM UTC. Of course there’s a free unrated patch, too.
