Techland‘s bloody open-world zombie survival horror action mix is now really complete.

The original Dying Light turned 7 years old, and after I already discussed the Platinum Edition in this game release news, I thought this was the complete package, but it seems I was wrong. As the discount only lasts a few days, I’ll keep it rather brief, only focusing on the new content.

It’s simply a bit more of the same, as in addition to the 21 DLCs that were part of the former edition, there are 5 more that have been released so far. So it’s nothing ground-breaking, especially if one considers that these are different skins, weapons, and other cosmetic changes. So anyone expecting more story-focused missions will be disappointed. Everyone else will receive the full package that shows Techland’s closing support of the first Dying Light game.

The game is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S with a 70% launch discount that lasts until June 27, 2022, at 10 PM UTC. Owners of the Platinum version don’t have to buy it again, as it will be automatically updated without additional costs.
