GOG release: “Amatsutsumi”

Purple Software, Sekai Project and Kagura Games‘ risqué anime visual novel Amatsutsumi has arrived in DRM-free form on GOG.

New Kagura Games titles usually show up on both Steam and GOG, but this time it seems that Amatsutsumi‘s content hasn’t gone through the approval process of the former store. From the story description and screenshots it’s certainly weird why this happened, as the game doesn’t sound too much different from other Japanese titles.

One plays as young boy Makoto who can take control of people with his voice via the power of Kotodama. One day he leaves his hidden home village, falls down unconsciously near a road and is picked up by young girl Oribe Kokoro who runs a café with her family in a small town. Starting a new life there, Makoto attends the local school and soon meets cute girls who each need his help, and it’s probably this that includes the adult content whatever it may be.

Amatsutsumi was originally released in July 2016 and is now available DRM-free on GOG with a 10% launch discount that lasts until August 5, 2022, at 7 PM UTC. There’s also a free unrated patch.
