GOG release: “Dome Keeper”

Bippinbits and Raw Fury‘s roguelike action-platformer Dome Keeper digs into DRM-free territory on GOG.

Dome Keeper was briefly mentioned in the Past gaming events: gamescom 2022 (quick overview with social media) article and it’s another example of games going deep, at least in terms of mining exploration. The premise is simple: defend one’s dome from attacks from above and dig below for resources and upgrades.

Of course there’s a risk/reward system at work, because the time between attacks has to be used efficiently. Trying to bring back all the things one can carry before the dome is shattered is essential. But if one is careful enough, it’s possible to improve weapons, drill and fly faster to speed up the mining operation for the next moment of survival.

Dome Keeper was originally released in September 2022 and is now available DRM-free on GOG with a 20% launch discount that lasts until December 2, 2022, at 2 PM UTC.
