Epic Games Store‘s third day of giveaways presents Double Fine/Majesco Entertainment‘s Halloween adventure/RPG Costume Quest 2.
It seems that the Epic Games Store starts to rely a bit too much on some titles that have already been given away for free. Costume Quest 2 is one such example, as it showed up in 2020. Maybe the season isn’t that appropriate, but it’s certainly nice to have another chance to grab the sequel to the first title I reviewed in 2013.
The game is a bit more epic, but no less humorous than its predecessor, because one fights dental soldiers. Of course one chooses between different customes to transform into superheroes, creatures or famous people for winning in turn-based battles, while siblings Wren and Reynald try to save Halloween once again.
The game can now be added to the Epic Games Store account for free, but only until today, December 18, 2022, at 5:00 PM.
