GOG’s winter sale is nearing its end with Team17‘s cartoon strategy game Worms Revolution: Gold Edition as another freebie.
It’s amazing how many different genres the DRM-free service has tackled in the past few days for its selection of giveaways, as Worms Revolution: Gold Edition goes in a completely different direction than GOG free game: “Greak: Memories of Azur” or GOG free game: “Broken Sword: Director’s Cut”, for example. It was already featured in the GOG releases 3 “Worms” games news, so here’s simply a short summary of what to expect from the latest entry of the long-running series.
It includes the original game, the Customization and Mars Pack as well as the Funfair and Medieval Tales DLCs, making for some crazy environments where one can blow up the opponent’s worms. Featuring a class system and a fun commentary by wildlife documentary filmmaker Don Keystone is the topping on the mayhem cake.
Worms Revolution: Gold Edition can be downloaded for free until December 30, 2022, at 2 PM UTC, while the winter sale lasts until January 2, 2022, at 11 PM UTC.
